Winds brought by Super Typhoon Leon continue to batter Batanes Thursday even as the weather disturbance moves away from the province.

A separate video taken Wednesday night showed the province being drenched by a heavy downpour.

Video taken by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Batanes, meanwhile, showed officials trying to remove rocks after a rockslide in Nakanmuan and Sinakan in Sabtang, and San Vicente, Ivana.
