Li Shangfu and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin were both in Singapore for the Shangri-La Dialogue, the region's top defense summit.</p><p>Li did not directly address the incident at the summit but commented more broadly on the American navigation missions around Taiwan.</p><p>"The best way is for the countries, especially the naval vessels and fighter jets of countries, not to do closing actions around other countries' territories," Li said through an interpreter.</p><p>"What's the point of going there?
