MANILA — Former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog said he has already forgiven Rodrigo Duterte and only wants peace for himself and his family after the former president's life-altering drug accusations against him.

"As a true Christian, I forgive him," a sobbing Mabilog told Karen Davila during an exclusive interview on ANC's "Headstart" when asked whether he planned to file a case against Duterte.

Mabilog said despite the torment he endured, the last 7 years have gave him time for his family, which he said he never had while in public service.
