MANILA — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Friday announced the resignation of its spokesperson Pircelyn "Celine" Pialago, effective at the end of the month.

"Ms. Pialago has served the agency with dedication, and while we are saddened to see her depart, we respect her decision to move forward in her journey," the LTFRB said.

In her resignation letter dated Aug. 9, Pialago said her decision to leave LTFRB "has not been an easy one."

Pialago, a former beauty pageant contestant, previously served as spokesperson of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
