MANILA —The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday said that all 27 Filipino crew of MV Transworld Navigator are safe, citing information from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

The vessel, attacked by the Houthi rebels for docking in an Israeli port, is now out of the High-Risk Zone and is headed for the Suez Canal.

This attack comes after the Houthi rebels attacked Greek-owned MV Tutor carrying 22 Filipino seafarers with double missiles last June 12.

Twenty one seafarers have been rescued and have returned back safely to the Philippines, but one crew remains missing.
