President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos arrive at the Wattay International Airport for the four-day 44th and 45th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic on Tuesday. For the first time, VP Sara Duterte is not assigned as one of the country's caretakers, the president instead choosing Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, and Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III.
