Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the controversial founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ church in Davao City, is set to face a Senate inquiry Wednesday on alleged human trafficking and sexual abuses inside his religious organization.

Quiboloy left the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame in Quezon City around 8:37 a.m. on board a coaster bus and arrived at the Senate a little past 9 a.m.

Quiboloy along with his co-accused will appear before the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality as it resumes its inquiry into his alleged crimes against some women and children members of KOJC.

The court on Tuesday rejected Quiboloy's filed opposition to appear in the Senate and released an order granting Senator Risa Hontiveros’ request, noting that it recognizes the power of the legislature to conduct investigations in aid of legislation.
