Ritchie Babia Jr.'s old ID as an Administrative Aide 1. He is now an Administrative Aide IV at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 2nd District Engineering Office in Cagayan de Oro.

CAGAYAN DE ORO - A government employee was arrested by the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group for sniffing shabu Tuesday evening.

Ritchie Babia Jr., 27, was caught in the act of sniffing shabu inside a shanty in Punta, Barangay Macabalan.

Police Inspector Mario Mantala Jr., Deputy Chief of CAIDSOTG, said a concerned citizen in the area tipped them off about an ongoing drug session.

Operatives recovered one sachet of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia like improvised tooter, lighter and foil.

Babia is currently working as an Administrative Officer IV of the Department of Public Works and Highways 2nd District Engineering Office in Cagayan de Oro.

Babia insisted that someone set him up but admitted to using shabu that time.
