MANILA - A 4.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Padada, Davao del Sur Monday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tectonic tremor struck at 4:53 p.m. at about 10 kilometers southwest of Padada town with a depth of 10 kilometers.
Below are areas where the magnitude 4.8 quake was felt:

Instrumental intensities were also recorded:

Phivolcs said no damage nor aftershocks are expected.
On Sunday afternoon, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake also hit Padada. It was felt at different intensities in different parts of Mindanao.

Three powerful quakes, all of which were above 6 on the magnitude scale, struck the region in October, leaving at least 23 dead and scores injured.
