BAGUIO CITY - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Wednesday advised motorists going to Baguio City to use a newly opened road to avoid traffic.

Concrete barriers and reflective traffic signs have been installed at the Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Road.

Traffic personnel will also be deployed since there are still no street lights in the area, DPWH said.

Some motorists told ABS-CBN News that traveling to and from Baguio City using the new route is faster.
