PUERTO PRINCESA - Several young Palaweños gathered around the provincial capitol on Friday to condemn the interment of late President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
During the indignation rally, the youth chanted "Marcos: tuta, diktador, pasista!" while holding placards stating "Marcos is no hero."
The demonstrators said they lit candles as a symbol of the death of democracy and justice and of their protest against revisionist history.
Some protesters came straight from school. They said that it's very important for them to take part in the protest because they are aware of the human rights violations during Martial Law.
They also asserted that the Duterte administration should have been transparent to the Filipino people about today's burial.
