MANILA—President Rodrigo Duterte met anew with Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari in Malacañang on Monday night.
Both leaders have agreed the creation of a coordinating body between the government and MNLF, Sen. Bong Go told reporters.
The President is set to meet Misuari anew in Davao City in December, he added.
The Palace earlier said the GPH-MNLF coordinating committee "will serve as a venue to seek for the cooperation of the MNLF to achieve immediate peace in Sulu by, among others, helping in combating the Abu Sayyaf Group and convincing MNLF relatives to return to the folds of the law."—With a report from Sherrie Ann Torres, ABS-CBN News
