DAVAO CITY- The Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation conducted its first medical mission in Davao City on Friday.

The medical mission at the Davao Chong Hua High School started on November 4 and will run until November 6, 2016.

More than 2,000 individuals benefited from the free medical, dental and eye check-up.

A total of 110 volunteer doctors assisted the medical mission, 20 of whom are Taiwanese and five are Malaysians.

According to Dr. Chin Lon-Lin, chief executive officer of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation, they want to help the people of Davao who are in need of medical treatment.
