A landslide set off by heavy rains brought about by severe tropical storm Rosita buried a house in Barangay Mabilong, Labuagan town, Kalinga, that killed a girl and left 2 others injured.

The Department of Health provincial office identified the fatality as 5-year-old Eurich Galo. The two other victims, ages 4 and 19, were brought to Kalinga district hospital.

Several deaths were attributed to landslides as Rosita made its way out of northern Luzon.

In Natonin town, Mountain Province, at least 3 people were killed and several people trapped inside a building engulfed in mud.
