MANILA—Some 30,000 members of Jesus Is Lord (JIL) celebrated its 41st anniversary at Luneta on Saturday, according to a crowd number estimated by Manila police.

The celebration, which started at about 5 p.m, was led by JIL founder and congressman Bro. Eddie Villanueva, and his son, Sen. Joel Villanueva.

Senate President Tito Sotto gave a speech, before he and Sen. Villanueva presented a Senate resolution recognizing and celebrating JIL's anniversary.
