MANILA - Public satisfaction ratings of the House of Representatives, Supreme Court, and the Cabinet rose to "good" in the 3rd quarter of the year, according to a new survey by pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Results from the survey, conducted from September 15 to 23, also showed that the Senate recorded the highest score among key government institutions, retaining its "good" public satisfaction rating.

Sixty-two percent of the respondents were satisfied with Senate's performance while 14 percent said they were not. About 23 percent were undecided.

SWS said the 7-point increase in the Senate's net satisfaction was due to increases of 13 points in Balance Luzon, and 12 points in Mindanao. Though, its score dropped 9 points in Metro Manila and 1 point in the Visayas.

Meanwhile, satisfaction ratings for the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court rose by one grade from "moderate" to "good" at +36 and +31, respectively.
