MANILA (UPDATE) - Several schools in Metro Manila suspended classes following a 5.3-magnitude earthquake that jolted Quezon province on Friday afternoon.

Schools that suspended Friday classes are the following:
- Colegio de San Juan de Letran
- PUP NCR branches and campuses
- FEATI
- PWU Taft Avenue and PWU Jasms Indiana Campuses
- UST
- UE Caloocan and Manila
- TIP QC and Manila
- FEU Manila
- San Beda University
- UP Diliman
- Ateneo de Manila University
The cities of Valenzuela and Muntinlupa also suspended classes.
