MANILA (UPDATE) - Several schools in Metro Manila suspended classes following a 5.3-magnitude earthquake that jolted Quezon province on Friday afternoon.
Schools that suspended Friday classes are the following:
- Colegio de San Juan de Letran
- PUP NCR branches and campuses
- PWU Taft Avenue and PWU Jasms Indiana Campuses
- UE Caloocan and Manila
- TIP QC and Manila
- FEU Manila
- San Beda University
- UP Diliman
- Ateneo de Manila University
The cities of Valenzuela and Muntinlupa also suspended classes.
A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Burdeos town in Quezon province Friday afternoon, with the tremor felt across Luzon, including Metro Manila.
Several office buildings, establishments, and schools were evacuated in the capital region, including Malacañang and the Department of Justice.
