MANILA - Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Tuesday said he will put up a “hate wall” to encourage Manileños to stop vandalizing and defacing government establishments and statues in the capital.

Manileños should stop defacing monuments because these are reminders of heroes who gave us the things we enjoy now, Moreno told reporters after spotting a vandalized statue near the Liwasang Bonifacio.

Moreno warned Manileños that he would not go easy on those who would deliberately vandalize properties despite his appeal.
