MANILA -- The Southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring rains to Metro Manila and parts of Luzon on Tuesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The weather system, which is affecting the western section of Luzon, will bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Zambales and Bataan, PAGASA said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be experienced over the rest of the country, it said.

No weather disturbance is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next 2 to 3 days, said PAGASA weather specialist Meno Mendoza.
