CEBU - Former senator and Toledo City Mayor John Henry Osmeña left the hospital Wednesday following his recovery from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Osmeña, 84, was confined at the hospital for 20 days, according to Ferliza Contratista of the Toledo City Community Affairs and Development Office.
The former lawmaker is seen smiling and waving while being wheeled out on a stretcher, as shown on photos by John Noel Zerna Divinagracia.
"There were cheers and claps by hospital staff as he was sent home," she captioned the post.

Osmeña has yet to recover from bedsores, she added.
