Ex-senator Ramon Revilla Sr. laid to rest in Cavite

MANILA - Former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. was laid to rest at the Angelus Eternal Garden in Cavite on Thursday.

The veteran actor and former lawmaker was buried with full military honors.

The Revilla patriarch died on Friday, June 26, due to heart failure, nearly 2 months after he was brought to the hospital due to breathing problems.

Born Jose Acuna Bautista, Revilla Sr. was also known as "Hari ng mga Agimat" (King of Amulets) in Philippine showbiz.
