ILOILO CITY - Isinailalim sa lockdown ang St. Paul's Hospital sa Iloilo City matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang anim na doktor dito.

Isasailalim rin sa strict quarantine ang lahat ng nagtatrabaho sa ospital kasunod ng lockdown sa ospital.

Kinumpirma ni Atty. Roy Villa ng Regional Interagency Task Force for COVID-19 na mula alas-7 ng gabi ngayong Linggo, ipinatupad na ang lockdown matapos ang rekomendasyon ng Department of Health Region 6.

Sarado ngayon ang operating rooms, Emergency Room at Out Patient Department.

Ngayong gabi, kinumpirma din ni Mayor Jerry Treñas sa kaniyang official Facebook page na anim sa mga doktor sa naturang ospital ang positibo sa COVID-19 at agad ng nagsagawa ng contact tracing ang IATF.

"St Paul's Hospital administation is currently coordinating with the regional IATF and following all protocols and decisions of the regional IATF. Contact tracing is currently being done both by the hospital administration and the personnel of the city health office. Let us all pray for the health and safety of all employees nurses and doctors of St. Paul's hospital. Let us never forget that our health workers have been helping in keeping all of us safe," aniya.

Ayon kay Villa, nakatakdang isailalim sa COVID-19 test ang lahat ng mga hospital personnel. Hindi naman natukoy kung hanggang kailan ang ipatutupad na lockdown sa ospital.
