MANILA - Fifteen couples simultaneously exchanged wedding vows in Lourdes Church in Tagaytay City Wednesday in a concelebrated Mass organized by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

The newlyweds composed of 17 jail officers, 1 fire officer, 1 police officer and 11 civilians happily exchanged vows after Jail Chief Supt. Efren Nemeño, BJMP 4A regional director, arranged a mass wedding ceremony as part of his birthday celebration.

“This celebration was conducted primarily to celebrate the oneness of these happy couples, and secondly to show the BJMP’s creative way of boosting the morale of its troops,” said Nemeño.

BJMP Chief Jail Director Deogracias Tapayan lauded Nemeño’s effort and congratulated the newlywed couples.
