PHILIPPINES – Sisimulan na ngayong buwan ng Hunyo ang shooting ng film project na In My Mother’s Skin, isang horror-thriller movie na kolaborasyon sa pagitan ng tatlong (3) bansa: Pilipinas, Singapore at Taiwan. Ayon na rin ito sa anunsiyo ng dalawang (2) national film agencies, ang Infocomm Media Development Authority o IMDA ng Singapore at Film Development Council of the Philippines o FDCP sa Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival.

Pagbibidahan ito ni Beauty Gonzalez sa direksyon ni Kenneth Lim Dagatan. Nakilala si Dagatan sa iWantTFC Originals horror-thriller film na 'Ma' na isa rin sa mga sumulat ng horror film na 'Bloody Crayons' ng Star Cinema.

Ipiniresenta ang nasabing pelikula sa Philippine-Singapore Pavilion sa Riviera’s International Village bilang bahagi ng 75th Cannes Film Festival na dinaluhan ng mga kinatawan ng FDCP sa pangunguna ni FDCP Chairperson at CEO Ms. Liza Diño.

Ayon pa sa FDCP, nasa World War II period ang setting ng pelikula na tungkol sa kwento ng isang anak na babae na magtitiwala sa isang “flesh-eating” na diwata para lamang maisalba ang kanilang ina na siya namang maglalagay sa alanganin sa kanyang pamilya. Tampok din sa nasabing pelikula sina Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Angeli Bayani, at Felicity Kyle Napuli.

Ang In My Mother’s Skin ay grantee ng FDCP International Co-Production Fund o ICOF at nakatanggap din ng insentibo mula sa IMDA Singapore at Taiwan Creative Content Agency o TAICCA. Ayon pa sa FDCP, kolaborasyon ang nasabing pelikula ng award-winning producers mula sa EpicMedia Productions ng Pilipinas, Zhao Wei at Clover Films ng Singapore, at Volos Films ng Taiwan.
