Nagsilbing guardian si Vice-President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio sa estudyanteng si Angel Mae Tayaba nitong Biyernes, Mayo 27, para sa moving-up ceremony nito sa isang paaralan sa San Carlos City, Pangasinan.
Ayon kay Duterte-Carpio, nakasama niya si Tayaba sa kampanya sa halalan sa kanilang lugar sa Pangasinan.
Nagbigay aniya si Tayaba ng sulat sa kaniya kung saan tinanong nito kung maaari bang umattend ang incoming vice president sa moving-up ceremony niya dahil OFW ang nanay niya at hindi pa makakauwi.
Si Duterte-Carpio rin ang nagsabit ng medalya sa estudyante, na may honor din.
