MANILA--Millions of Filipinos are set to vote on Monday and this didn't go unnoticed by American comedian Hasan Minhaj.
In the latest episode of Netflix's political-satire show "Patriot Act," he painted an unflattering picture of Philippine politics.
Minhaj started things out by criticizing the war on illegal drugs.
"Let's just say (President Rodrigo Duterte's) tactics are pretty extreme," he said.
Since Duterte won the presidency in 2016, his campaign against illicit narcotics has seen at least 5,000 people killed after allegedly fighting authorities, police figures have shown.
Minhaj also shared his thoughts on the elections and some senatorial candidates.
