MANILA - The net worth of President Rodrigo Duterte grew by P1.111 million to to P28.540 million in 2017 from P27.429 million the previous year.

In his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) as of December 31, 2017, the President’s total assets amounted to 29,340,321.07, up from P28,428,862.44 in 2016.

The President declared houses and lots in Gallera de Oro, Bago Aplaya, Maa, Matina Crossing and Buhangin, all in Davao City, as well as a 1978 Volvo sedan and a 1996 Toyota Rav 4 as his assets.

His cash in hand and bank, accumulated through the years, amounted to P19,365,321.07.

Five properties, meantime, were under the name of his daughter, Veronica, located in Matina Crossing, in Bgy. Malagos and Bgy. Catigas, all in Davao City.

The President’s only liability for 2017 is an P800,000 loan from Davao businessman Samuel Uy.

It appeared that the President paid Uy P200,000, as his liability in 2016 was a P1,000,000 loan also from Uy.

President Duterte also listed his relatives in government: son Paulo; daughter Sara; daughter-in-law January; brother Benjamin; nephew Wilfrido Villarica; niece-in-law Jean Villarica.

The SALN of the President was released by the Office of the Ombudsman upon the request of the media.
