A South Korean was arrested Thursday for possession of illegal drugs at the Clark International Airport, authorities said.

Kim Junho, 37, was arrested after authorities found one sachet of dried marijuana and sachets of white substance "suspected to be cocaine or shabu" in his luggage, airport officials said in a statement.

“Korean passengers abound at Clark all year round and while we have set in place measures to ensure their comfort and safety, let this be a warning to all that (our security staff) will be uncompromising in handling cases involving prohibited substances or contraband,” he said.
