MANILA--The Cebu City government recorded 139 new cases of COVID-19, marking the highest one-day jump since infections were first recorded, Mayor Edgardo Labella said Wednesday.

Of the new COVID-19 cases, 9 came from Barangay Labangon and 3 from Barangay Luz. Both barangays have been placed under total lockdown.
