MANILA - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday ordered the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) to remove posters of candidates in its stations.
MANILA - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday ordered the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) to remove posters of candidates in its stations.
Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said tarpaulins of Malasakit Centers are posted in LRT stations which were not put up by the Philippine General Hospital.
"@OfficialLRTA @officialLRT1 remove all tarps of candidates from all LRT stations NOW. [You] have tarps of Malasakit centers of PGH that Director Dr. Legaspi said [they] did not put up. @jabjimenez write the LRT Gen. Manager," Guanzon said in a tweet.

Comelec earlier requested the Department of Health to remove posters of Malasakit Centers in public buildings bearing the face of administration Senate bet Bong Go, whom President Rodrigo Duterte credited for conceptualizing the center.
