(UPDATED) A disinfection water generating facility was opened last Tuesday in San Fernando City, La Union by the provincial government.

Using Japanese technology, the facility could produce 40,000 liters of disinfectant solution per day.

The solution will be used for disinfecting district hospitals, checkpoints, government offices, households and private establishments.

Meanwhile, in the town of Bauang, sprinklers were attached to a scaffolding to help disinfect vehicles entering and leaving the public market.
