CEBU CITY - The boyfriend of a teen who died of drug overdose during Sinulog festivities last month was charged with homicide on Saturday.

The case was filed by the father of 19-year-old medical student Ashley Abad and the Cebu City Police at the Cebu City Prosecutors Office.

In a statement, the family expressed their faith on the justice system that Nel Spencer Tiu and six others will be made accountable for Ashley's death.
