DAVAO CITY - Bomb disposal experts had to be called after two black bags were left unattended outside a commercial establishment near the city hall Sunday.

Locals were advised to stay away from the items while a bomb expert checked the contents of the two bags.

Private vehicles and PUVs were also not allowed to move.

After inspection, the authorities found no explosives. Inside the bags were clothes, DVDs, and other personal items.

Nevertheless, the authorities commended the public for being cautious.
