BATANGAS CITY - Nagtayo ng 40-bed na "Smart House" isolation facility ang pamahalaan ng Batangas City para sa mga residente at frontliners na isasailalim sa COVID-19 quarantine sa lungsod.
Mayroon itong airconditioning, LED Android TV, toilet, electric kettle , medical equipment at iba pang supply.
Nakatakda rin itong palagyan ng internet connection.
Bahagi ng pasilidad ang consultation at decontamination areas.

Ang Smart House facility ay dagdag sa 3 temporary health facilities na nirerentahan ng Batangas City LGU para sa asymptomatic at mild symptoms COVID-19 patients.
Nasa 2,466 na confirmed COVID-19 na kaso ang naitala sa lungsod, pero 29 na lamang dito ang active. Nasa 73 na ang namatay habang 2,364 na ang gumaling.--Ulat ni Andrew Bernardo
