MANILA - The number-coding scheme for vehicles in Metro Manila is lifted on Wednesday, January 24, due to a transport strike, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

"To help commuters that might be affected by the transport strike, the UVVRP or number coding scheme is SUSPENDED tomorrow, Jan. 24, 2018 for ALL vehicles, public and private (except Makati and Las Piñas)," the MMDA said in a statement.
