Evacuation amid ashfall and mud in Talisay, Batangas

Residents of Talisay, Batangas are evacuated Sunday evening as Taal volcano spews a giant steam and ash cloud. Talisay shares the Taal volcano island with the municipality of San Nicolas. 

Ash has blanketed large parts of Batangas and neighboring provinces, and has reached as far as Metro Manila. Quakes generated by the volcano have also damaged Talisay's town gym.
