Two ships collided in Lawis Ledge, Talisay City, Cebu on Friday afternoon.

Lite Ferry 20 bound for Tubigon, Bohol from Cebu City accidentally bumped into LCT Seamine 8, a cargo vessel en route to Naga City.

Philippine Coast Guard Cebu Commander Jerome Cayabyab said no injuries were reported from the incident.

However, the left port quarter of Lite Ferry 20 was damaged and the cargo ship had a damaged sun deck.

Cayabyab said they have yet to determine the cause of the collision.

Both ships were able to maneuver out of the collision and proceed to their destination.
