MANILA - The daughter and son of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte on Monday took their oaths of office as Davao City's mayor and vice-mayor, respectively.
Sara Duterte was accompanied by her husband and two children when she was sworn in as mayor of the southern city.
Sara last held the mayoralty post in 2013, before giving way to the re-election bid of her father.
Paolo Duterte, meanwhile, was also surrounded by his family when he took his oath as vice mayor.
Both Sara and Paolo won the mayoralty and vice mayoralty races last May 9 by a landslide.

Sara earlier declined to be the First Lady of the Duterte patriarch, saying that she wants to focus on her duties as mayor.
