MANILA — Judy Ann Santos' online cooking show "Judy Ann's Kitchen" has returned after going on hiatus for more than two years. 

The actress earlier admitted that she took a pause in releasing new episodes of "Judy Ann's Kitchen" due to practicality, noting that many Filipinos are struggling with price increases and inflation.

Returning to her home in Batangas, Santos cooked Uni Pasta and Uni Toast for her comeback episode.

"We are back in our home in Batangas and one of our favorite activities is to harvest uni or sea urchins. So for this comeback episode, I am sharing with you simple recipes of Lucho's favorite comfort food: Uni Pasta (and) Uni Toast," she said in the caption.

Santos said viewers can expect to learn new hacks and cooking tips.

"After three years of resting, nag-reset muna ako, and now that I'm back. Balik na tayo rito sa original kitchen ng 'Judy Ann's Kitchen.' Let me just say, ang bongga ng teaser, ang bongga ng OBB, pinaghandaan talaga namin talaga 'tong pagbabalik na 'to," she said.

"It took us almost 6 months of pre-prod para buoin namin 'to. We have new details in the kitchen at saka ang dami naming bagong ipapakita sa inyo. Bago in a way na may mga tips, may mga hacks, may mga surprises along the way," she added.

She also thanked viewers for being patient as they waited for her return.

"Kayo po ang dahilan kung bakit ako talaga nag-effort nang bonggang-bongga sa napakagandang pagbabalik namin here at 'Judy Ann's Kitchen,'" she said.

"Judy Ann's Kitchen" is known for Santos' funny commentaries while cooking with memes of her clips circulating on social media.

Aside from being an actress, Santos is also known for her culinary skills. In 2016, her very first cookbook “Judy Ann’s Kitchen,” won an award in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Santos is also considered one of the most popular cooking vloggers in the country. As of writing, her YouTube channel "Judy Ann's Kitchen" has already 1.69 million subscribers.
