MANILA – Did you know that actress Arci Muñoz once dabbled in musical theater?

Cosmopolitan Philippines, which features Muñoz as its June 2016 cover girl, recently uploaded a video of the “Always Be My Maybe” actress singing a few lines from “Think of Me,” one of the songs from the musical “The Phantom of the Opera”.

“Ito ‘yung song na ginamit ko para mag-audition sa theater noong college ako. Medyo hindi ko siya makakalimutan,” she said. “Iyong ‘Think of Me’ sa ‘Phantom.’”

“Ang tagal ko nang hindi kinanta ‘yun!” she said right after.

One of the world’s most popular musicals, “The Phantom of the Opera” had an extended run in Manila in 2012.

Aside from being an actress, Muñoz is also the lead vocalist of the local rock band Philia.
