MANILA- The new year, or the year of the earth pig, will be better than 2018, or the year of the earth dog, a feng shui expert said Friday.
"We will have a lot of opportunities. Younger generations will have better opportunities," feng shui expert Hanz Cua told ANC.
For those planning to venture into new businesses, Cua said fire and earth-related businesses would likely be a big hit.
The year 2019, according to Cua, will be an "excellent year" for businesses related to food, electronics and technology, real estate, agriculture, and poultry.
For those looking to boost their income flow, wearing red may help, while wearing pink could help attract love in 2019, Cua said.
To welcome a prosperous year, Cua advises displaying a "prosperity pig," hanging lucky charms on the door, and giving out "ang pao" or red envelopes with money to children.
Rice, sugar, and salt containers should also be full at the start of the year, he added.
