MANILA – Want to level up your Noche Buena feast? Here are some of the deals and treats offered by restaurants and hotels in the metro. 


For a hearty feast, Market Café offers an international buffet complete with slow-roast turkey and Christmas ham, along with a selection of holiday fare from the Chinese, Filipino, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Western stations. On Christmas Eve, rates start at P2,800 nett for lunch and P3,200 nett for dinner; and on Christmas Day, rates start at P3,200 nett for lunch and dinner. Dinner rates are inclusive of free-flow soda, chilled juices, beer, ice tea, and wine. 

For an intimate dinner affair, book a table at The Fireplace and enjoy a special set menu of peppered Certified Angus Beef tenderloin steak with sauvignon glaze, foie gras, poach salmon with minted peas, and duck breast with sweet potato puree. Christmas set menus are priced at P2,500 nett per person.

At Li Li, diners on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have an option between the Festive Yumcha at P1,688 nett per person (inclusive of free-flow iced tea and soda) or the Christmas lunch and dinner set menus starting at P2,888 nett per person.

Foodies can indulge in Nobu Manila’s seven-course Omakase dinner menu until December 28. The menu includes Aburi Tachiuo Salad with Spicy Lemon Dressing; Roasted King Prawn with Scampi Gratin, Wasabi Aioli and Bacon Korokke; and Nobu-style Puto Bumbong. The promotion is at P5,400++ per person. 

Revelers looking for premium Cantonese and contemporary Chinese can satisfy their cravings at Crystal Dragon with a choice between two five-course Christmas set menus priced at P1,988++ and P2,388++ offered for the whole month of December. 

Set A features dishes such as Pan-fried Fragrant Glutinous Rice with Aromatic Duck Leg in Abalone Sauce, Steamed Cod Fish with Baby Bok Choy and Crispy Turnips, and Chilled Sweetened Mango Sphere with Pan-fried Soft Skin Ube. Set B, on the other hand, includes Hands Roll Peking Duck with Seafood Platter, Braised E. Fu Noodle with Oven-baked Garlic and Bacon Lobster, and Walnut Chocolate Whiskey’s Soft Skin Dumpling with Crispy Custard Banana Roll and Warm Vanilla Sauce.

Café Eight’s Christmas dinner buffet offers a lavish selection of Beetroot and Vodka-marinated Salmon Citrus Fennel Salad, terrines, Roasted Turkey with Chipolata Sausage, chestnut stuffing, Christmas pudding, mince pies, and a lot more. 

For Christmas Day brunch, Café Eight will serve Mimosa Salad, Gravlax with Oriental 5 Spices and Orange Sauce, Seafood Bisque, Indian-spiced Duck Leg Confit, and Christmas cakes. Buffet rates start at P1,600++.
