MANILA – Robi Domingo revealed that his family home is inspired by “Pinoy Big Brother,” the popular reality show that he co-hosts.

In his latest vlog, Domingo gave his fans a glimpse of the place he has been calling home for the past 11 years.

“Dito ako tumira right after ‘PBB,’ 11 years ago,” he said. “Di ko ito sariling bahay, bahay ito ng magulang ko and inside, andiyan ‘yung lola ko, kapatid ko, [at] mga househelp.”

The two-storey house boasts of Japanese elements, including a zen fountain with koi fish near the living area.

Also near the entrance is a baby grand piano which, Domingo said, is a gift from celebrity doctor Vicki Belo.

“Ang maganda sa bahay na ‘to, hindi siya kulob,” the host said. “Marami siyang glass elements and hindi masikip ‘yung feeling mo. You’re one with nature.”

Domingo went on to explain how they picked up ideas from “PBB” and applied it to their home.

“Nakuha namin ‘yung ibang ideas from ‘Big Brother.’ Paano? Ito ‘yung tinatawag naming storage room. Very ‘PBB,’ ang laman nito pagkain,” he said. “Dito kami nagho-hoard at nag-iiwan ng grocery namin.”

He added: “Meron din kaming confession or prayer room.”

Domingo’s family home also has a swimming pool as well as a garden with a greenhouse and a bahay-kubo.
