BISTRO GROUP BRINGS BACK BUY ONE, GET ONE PROMO

The Bistro Group has brought back its buy one, get one promotion for the month of July.

A different dish is offered at Bistro Group Restaurants as part of the promo for every day of the week -- such as burgers at TGIFriday's every Monday, Boneless Wings at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesdays; California Maki at Watami on Wednesdays; Quattro Formaggi Pizza at Italianni's on Thursdays; Roadie's Grilled Pork Belly at Texas Roadhouse on Fridays; Platter 2 at Denny's on Saturdays; and Platter 1 at Modern Shanghai on weekends.

Meanwhile, various paella flavors are part of the promo at Las Flores, Rambla, and Tomatito.

The offers are available for dine in, takeout, and delivery via GrabFood.

Birdhouse is offering a "fried chicken blowout" promo until August 15, allowing customers to get two pieces of fried chicken for free when they avail any of the restaurant's bucket combinations.

The promo may be availed in store (Corner Market Podium and Uptown Place Mall branches), or via GrabFood and LalaFood.

Wee Nam Kee's branch at Alabang Town Center is also offering a promotion for dine-in, takeout, and delivery (GrabFood and LalaFood). Until August 15, customers who will order at least P800 will get a free small serving of fried rice.

NEW SHOW ON JAPANESE FOOD

Adam Liaw visits his wife's homeland and discovers what else Japan has to offer in Asian Food Network's newest series, "Destination Flavor: Japan."

The new series shows Liaw traveling the entire length of the country to know more about Japanese cuisine.

"Destination Flavor: Japan" will premiere at 9 p.m. on July 23 at Asian Food Network, which is available on Sky Cable CH 248, Cignal TV CH 62, and Destiny Cable CH 22.

NUTRIASIA KIDS PAY TRIBUTE TO FRONTLINERS

Children recently paid tribute to their parents who are NutriAsia employees, who are also frontliners as they keep shelves stocked with condiments, sauce mixes, and juice drinks.

Through the Salamat BayaNAI program, 3,800 face shields were assembled and donated to NutriAsia merchandisers and employees for their protection.

The program was launched by Batang NutriAsia, an in-house summer program for children of the country's employees.

"We want these frontliners to know that their work is appreciated, and their bravery is not forgotten," said Sabine Flaminiano, Salamat BayaNAI project lead and a Batang NutriAsia graduate.

"Seeing the reactions of the store merchandisers and employees as they received our care packages was memorable. As their hard work and sacrifice are valued and recognized, this had brought big smiles and a boost to their morale."

Founded in 1991, NutriAsia Group is known for Filipino food brands such as Datu Puti, Silver Swan, Mang Tomas, UFC, Papa Catsup, and Jufran.

TEPPANYAKI ALL YOU CAN, A LA CARTE SELECTIONS

Diamond Hotel Philippines' Japanese restaurant Yurakuen has reopened its teppanyaki private rooms for dine-in guests.

Yurakuen is offering a teppanyaki-all-you-can menu, with ingredients like scallops and beef tenderloin and a choice of rice, soup, and dessert. For those seeking a more traditional sit-down meal, an a la carte menu is offered at the main dining room.

For guests who miss the grand atmosphere and signature dishes of Diamond Hotel Philippines' Corniche restaurant, dine-in reservations are now welcomed. A new a la carte menu is available, with dishes like Pan-Seared Salmon Salpicao and Lechon Kawali.

Guests can also order their Diamond Hotel favorites, as well as food vouchers, online for pickup via the hotel's website.

YELLOW CAB'S HOUSE PIZZA PROMO

Hungry but tired of cooking? Yellow Cab is offering a House Pizza promo that includes two nine-inch classic pizzas and 16 chicken wings for P999.

Pizza flavors in the promo, which runs until October 4, include Hawaiian and Pepperoni.

The House Pizza promo is available for curbside pickup, takeout, and delivery via GrabFood, Foodpanda, and LalaFood.
