NAMCYA, held in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, is accepting applications for various categories through its website.

This year's national finals competition, titled "Tingog sa Paglaum" (Sounds of Hope), will run from November 24 to 29.

In a statement, NAMCYA president Dr. Renato Lucas said they have decided to hold the competition online to reach out to more Filipino talents.

Established in 1973, NAMCYA has helped launch the careers of performers such as Rowena Arrieta, Coke Bolipata, Andion Fernandez, and Rachelle Gerodias.
