MANILA -- Filipino rapper and songwriter Gloc-9 has teamed up with lifestyle brand New Era to come up with a special cap collection that celebrates Pinoy artistry.

This marks the first-ever local collaboration of New Era, considered one of the leading names in street fashion and culture, with the popular music artist.

Released in time for the country's 120th Independence Day, the designs “celebrate the undeniable creative talent of Filipinos,” said Maritess See-Lazaro, COO of New Era Cap Philippines.

“We are very proud to work with a great Filipino talent like Gloc-9 for this special collection. We believe that he is best to represent our brand, knowing that he's making a name for himself, not just here but also internationally. In this collection, Gloc-9 and New Era worked on the design together, taking inspiration from the rapper’s simplicity and style. It also features highlights of Gloc-9’s career and his contributions to the local music scene.
