MANILA (UPDATE) -- The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) continues to stream past productions for free to keep theater fans entertained amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, CCP announced its lineup of shows in celebration of National Heritage Month this May, highlighted by Ballet Philippines' "Tales of the Manuvu" and the superhero musical "Zsazsa Zaturnnah."

Choreographed by National Artist for Dance Alice Reyes in 1976, "Tales of the Manuvu" tells the creation story of the Manobo tribe from Mindanao. It will premiere at 3 p.m. on May 14.

"Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal," on the other hand, is based on the graphic novel of the same title by Carlo Vergara and will be streamed on May 30. Performed by Tanghalang Pilipino actors, it follows the adventure of a gay beauty salon owner who transforms into a voluptuous superhero.
