Filipino singers and musicians have come together to record a song about the May 13 midterm elections.

Leading the pack is National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, who sang the first part of “Sana Naman, Taumbayan” composed by Louie Ocampo and written by Joey Ayala.

Other featured artists include Jamie Rivera, Jed Madela, Robert Seña, Isay Alvarez Seña, Maysh Baay of Moonstar88, Myke Salomon, Reuben Laurente, Jay Durias, Mitch Valdes, Mass Appeal Choir, The CompanY, Agot Isidro, and Bayang Barrios.

“Sana Naman, Taumbayan” is described as “a song advocating for honest elections in the Philippines” and features music acts of different political beliefs.

Part of the lyrics goes: “At sana kahit sinong manalo / Pagkatapos ng bilangan / Sana naman ang panalo ay taumbayan.”
