MANILA – Gloria Diaz is set to make a guest appearance on “Insatiable,” a Netflix show about beauty queens and pageants.
The actress and Miss Universe 1969 titleholder made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday.
“Working with Dallas Roberts on the set of ‘Insatiable’ of Netflix,” she said, referring to the actor who plays the role of Bob Armstrong in the series.
Diaz added that she is “excited and nervous” about her new project, saying she feels like she is a newcomer in the industry all over again.
“Can’t remember my lines and just totally overwhelmed,” she added.
Diaz’s daughter, actress-model Isabelle Daza, has also been sharing photos on the set of “Insatiable” on her Instagram stories.
She revealed that her mother will appear as herself in the Netflix series.
