Wilson acknowledged that she could afford to stop working because her husband can provide for their family, but she said that she doesn’t find it fulfilling.

“Yes, I could very well just sit on my ass, be a lady who ‘lunches,’ who goes shopping, who just spends my husband’s money as I please. But you know what? I don’t find that fun. It’s boring as hell to me,” she said.

She went on: “Nothing makes me feel more empowered than knowing that I have my own money in the bank, that I can be financially secure on my own. I’m lucky to have a husband who understands that, who lets me thrive and be my own person. Plus, I think it’s nice that I am able to wine and dine him, too!”
